Worship & Music Exploration

Eric Wall led members of BMPC in a workshop where they spent time dreaming and exploring what worship means to us. We looked at hopes and ideas for music at BMPC through singing, conversation, and imagining.

Eric is the Assistant Professor of Sacred Music, Dean of the Chapel at Austin Theological Seminary. He also serves as the Conference Musician at Montreat Retreat Association every summer.


National Moment of Unity & Rememberance

On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, BMPC participated in the National Moment of Unity and Remembrance. Pastor Mary Katherine, Pastor David, and Pastor Bob read scripture, prayed, and read the names of members we have lost during the COVID-19 pandemic. The church bells then rang for 5 minutes as we remembered all who have lost their lives during this time.

Hopes for BMPC - 112 years!

In 1908, thirteen families petitioned the Presbytery to organize a church in Black Mountain. 112 Years later, we are still looking forward to what God has in store for us. A beacon of hope to our town,we are where the welcome never ends. Hear from our leaders their hopes and dreams.
