OUR CHURCH‘S MISSION 

From the New Testament, we believe that as a church we are called by God:

·        to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ (Kerygma)

·        to teach the truth of our faith (Didache)

·        to nurture Christian community (Koinonia)

·        to be Christ’s servant people (Diakonia)

THE VISION 

Creating Community

Centered in God’s Story
We will strengthen both of our worship services (in their respective styles), as well as our educational opportunities, continuing to challenge ourselves to be creative and fresh with words/liturgy, music and artistic expression.

 Living God’s Grace in the World
We will get more members involved in hands-on mission work.

 The Welcome Does Not End
We will create community that intentionally includes new members, active and inactive members, and visitors.

 Generation to Generation
We will create opportunities for teaching, learning, caring and playing between generations, in worship and in other church activities.

 Stewardship of Staff and Facilities
We will be aware of current staff gifts and future staffing needs.  We will attend to immediate facility repairs and begin planning for future possible expansion and improvement in 5-10 years.
