The musicians from our congregations will be serving a meal to the choir and local college alumni before the concert.
If you can host one or two singers overnight, and feed them breakfast the next morning, and return them to the church to depart, please contact Mike Barker.
 

The Concert Choir is an auditioned ensemble of 50 singers, which performs choral literature of many styles. Emphasis is on musicality, education and appropriate historical style for an academic approach appropriate for the Liberal Arts setting of Maryville College. This ensemble serves as the main liaison between the College and various church and school communities, both locally and in the north and southeast. The choir goes on tour every spring break performing at churches and high schools. Recent tour destinations include Chicago, IL, Charleston, SC, Daytona Beach, FL, New York, NY and New Orleans, LA. The 2008 Spring Choir Tour featured an international tour, a "Scots-American Musical Journey", to Scotland where the choir performed at St. Giles Cathedral, the Church of the Holy Rude, Iona Abbey and Sterling Castle. Scholarship positions are available.
